A home for veterans with disabilities in Glendale, Arizona

A structured transitional home where veterans regain stability and build a clear path to permanent housing — with dignity, and on their own terms.

The Glendale home

Our first home is a shared residence for 6–10 residents veterans with disabilities in Glendale, AZ. It is transitional housing — a real home with private and shared spaces, house responsibilities, and the support of a case manager and housemates working toward the same goal.

Homely provides housing, case management, and connection to VA and community services. We do not provide medical, clinical, or behavioral health treatment; instead, we help residents reach the services and benefits they're entitled to.

To protect our residents' privacy and safety, we do not publish the home's street address.

Structure that steadies

Stability comes from routine, responsibility, and support. Life in the home is built around a simple, consistent structure.

Case management

A dedicated case manager works with each resident on goals, benefits, and connection to VA and community services.

Individual Housing Plan

Every resident builds a personal plan with clear steps toward permanent housing, income, and stability.

Weekly house meetings

Residents meet weekly to plan, share responsibilities, and support one another as a household.

Employment focus

We help residents pursue work, training, or benefits — income is the foundation of lasting housing.

House rules

Clear, respectful expectations keep the home safe and stable for everyone who lives there.

Curfew

A nightly curfew supports the structure and safety of the shared home.

Length of stay

90 days, renewable

Participation is reviewed every 90 days and can be renewed for up to 24 months as a resident works toward permanent housing.

Program fee

30% of income

Residents contribute a program fee of 30% of their income, building the habit and budget of paying for housing.

The goal

Permanent housing

From the first night, every plan points toward a stable, permanent home — and the income and support to keep it.

Who we serve

A resident of our Glendale home is generally someone who is:

  • A veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces
  • 18 years or older
  • Experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of it
  • Living with a disability
  • Able to live independently in daily activities within a shared home

Not sure if someone qualifies? Reach out — we'll talk it through with you and their case manager.

Who we can't serve

Because we provide housing and case management — not clinical care — our home is not the right fit for everyone. We are not able to serve:

  • People who need 24/7 medical, nursing, or clinical supervision
  • People who need a level of care beyond independent living in a shared home

When we aren't the right fit, we do our best to point people and their case managers toward a program that is.
